SJVN Ltd further extends date for bid submission for Civil and Hydro-Mechanical works (on EPC basis) of 382MW Hydro-electric Project

SJVN Ltd (A Joint Venture of Govt. of India and Govt. of HP) has further extended the date and time for online submission of bids for “EPC contract package covering Design & Engineering services, Civil and Hydro-Mechanical works of Sunni Dam Hydroelectric Project (382 MW)” located in Distt. Shimla and Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, India. The NIT for the said tender was issued by SJVN Ltd on 20.04.2021. Pre-bid meeting was held on 05.07.2021 through virtual mode.

This tender offers great opportunity for those contractors/construction firms who do not have any previous construction experience of hydro-electric projects and want to enter in this most demanding field. As per the stipulated qualifying requirement, Contractors/ construction firms who do not have any previous experience of execution of Hydro/Water Resource project can participate in association with sub-contractors and/or JV partners to meet qualifying requirements.
